Guy if he starts in 8th gate like pictured. If he starts in base Yamamoto one-shots him before he has the chance to open 7th gate, which he'd need to to get past his Bankai.

Gai can't touch Yamamoto since he'd get disintegrated, but Midnight Elephant still gives him an easy win.

Gai one shots if he starts in 8 gates, if not then Yamamoto one shots him.

Since he starts in 8th i'd give it to Gai.

And btw, does anyone know if there is a coloured Bleach manga anywhere?

At base, yamamoto is far more impressive. Once they release their powers:

1. Guy takes it, if yamamoto doesn't release bankai quick enough.

2. Yamamoto takes it, if he goes bankai quick enough and guy foolishly goes for close quarter.

3. Guy takes it, yama goes bankai but guy attacks from a distance - like afternoon tiger.

4. Stalemate, even after guy killing yama, if they go eight gate, since his first technique in eight gate doesn't need close contact. But he dies if he opens eight gates.

Guy is faster and has some heavy hitting moves, but he may wear himself out in the process.

Base-7th Gate Gai<Yamamoto<<<8th Gate Gai.

Dunno if Guy can win, zanka no tachi west is super OP.

Once again my math skills fail me, so I will have to assume it is true. The OP does state he took the minimum amount of emission for the sun's core, so the actual durability required could be higher.

IMO Guy doesn't need 8th Gate for this. Hirudora is island level and non-contact. One of those would seriously injure Yama. Multiple would down him without too much trouble

At this point we might as well just have a 8-gates Guy takes Bleach gauntlet thread. Guy won’t get pass any of the god-tiers. People nowadays think he can take on anyone after he “beat” juubidara but in fact he didn’t even with Minato and other ppl’s help.
