Thor should be physically powerful enough to break out of Maw's TK, he wins.

OT: Ebony can use Thor's weapons to kill him. His abilities are pretty hard to judge, and can also be affected by the environment, but he's OP when he cares enough to be.

Then again, I can see Thor summoning thunders quick enough to finish this, but I don't find it as likely considering how mobile these fights tent to be.

I'll play Devil's Advocate and go with Ebony defeating pre-IW Thor.

Wasn't Ebony holding Thor down with debris at the start of IW while Thanos was talking with Loki?

Couldn't he do the same here?

Though Maw will lose it won't be very easy.

We don't know what had happened beforehand.

Thanos and the Black order had beaten down and killed the Asgardians on the ship, but there's no actual indication that Maw faught and incapacitated Thor 1 on 1.

I don't know if this means much but there is a concept art of Thor fighting Proxima Midnight and Corvus was looking at them, probably jumped in later on.

Ebony dies horribly. He could only restrain Thor while he was already severely burned and beaten by Thanos.

Maw can't intercept overhead lightning, he can't block the lightning, and can't redirect the lightning.

Thor one-shots with his lightning cloak. Maw only restrained him when be was already beaten down. His TK is barely building level by feats to be honest.

I feel like I heard somewhere that Maw has regular durability. Thor can vaporize him with lightning. Whereas the best thing Maw can do is maybe restrain Thor.

Maw bounces a ball off his head repeatedly and kills him.

Thor seemed to run about as fast as hulk who can run at more or less 27 mps in a weaker variation, and with the distance being 10 ft since no distance is given in the op it would take Thor literally 1/10 of a second to get to Maw and splatter him with a casual backhand. And that's assuming that there is no lighting, with it Thor one shots while maw tries to restrain him both tk.

With no lightning and Ragnarok Thor, Maw should be able to overwhelm him with his TK and versatility as long as he keeps his distance.

Post-IW Thor would destroy with his lightning and stormbreaker though.
