Here's the context : After witnessing all the genocides Thanos causes to all the planets he gets on , the Black Order thinks Thanos goes too far and decide to leave his side . They all choose to hide except Ebony Maw who chooses to go toe to toe against the Mad Titan . He confronts him on the planet Titan . Thanos has no stones . Both are in character . No BFR .

Thanos was in charge for a reason.

Honestly I'm going with Maw simply because Thanos has no projectiles, Maw can stop him getting close.

Logically, Thanos destroys him. As others have said,

Maw literally said in the movie that Thanos would kill him. Then again i don't doubt that Maw would put up a great fight being the strongest of his children.

This is tough, because it's feats vs implied power. Going to go with Thanos, but realistically, Maw could just suspend Thanos in the air and constantly hit him with projectiles.

Thanos for a solid majority. A rock thrown by Thanos would do more damage to Maw than a boulder thrown at Thanos by Maw's tk. Maw can use the environment, but why wouldn't Thanos do the same? Up close, it's no contest. At long range, Thanos can tank until something he throws lands. Seeing that Thanos decided to throw a moon, it's likely in-character for him to throw projectiles by hand without the stones.

Depends on Thanos durability honestly.

Maw could keep him at range, but if Thanos tanks everything Maw throws at him, eventually he one shots.

Maw was Thanos' lap dog, the answer should be clear enough.
