I don't think Atrocitus has no way of putting Stardust down.

Which instance are you referring to? He held his own against rookie Hal and Sinestro, shattering their constructs, but Sinestro ended up beating him down with a blunt construct. Later on, he was fighting against Sinestro and Hal yes I think, but Hal ended up casually restraining him. Going up against them isn't much impressive if he didn't do anything substantial. So yes, he did fight them, but he didn't do anything noteworrthy.

Stardust probably takes this.

@darthjhawk: That’s Green Lantern Vol. 4 #34. He shattered Thaal’s restraint constructs and proceeded to hold his own by draining their rings through a cosmic divining rod and using yellow objects (yellow being the weakness of the rings at that point in time) as weaponry. But when Sinestro got angry and got his chance, he ragdolled and KOed Atrocitus with a blunt construct. You can’t really use it to say Hal/Sinestro are well above Atrocitus as he didn’t have his Red Lantern rings and powers at the time, but you can’t use it as solid showing for Atrocitus either.

@darthjhawk: That was Rookie Hal. It was his first week as Green Lantern after training if I recall correctly. Experienced Hal effortlessly put him in a restraint construct with Atrocitus (and he had Red Lantern Ring) failing to put in so much as a hairline fracture.

Atrocitus is one note and joins the ranks of one dimensional C Listers like Doomsday, Mangog, Juggernaut and most of Dragon Ball.

LOL at Atrocitus being at Hal or Sinestro’s level, that is absolutely hilarious. But honestly, after seeing ^^the above, I have to say I’m convinced otherwise. What an amazingly formatted, thoughtful, engaging and well thought out statement, that completely and utterly debunked me, I most definitely concede to that grand genius!
