Create pfx from Encrypted Private Key

0

I have an encrypted private key in the form :

-----BEGIN ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY-----
...
-----END ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY-----

I need to obtain a pfx file with that private key.
I tried to use PVK2PFX

pvk2pfx -pvk <pvk-file> [-pi <pvk-pswd>] -spc <spc-file>

to obtain a pfx file but I'm having problems:

  • What format does PVK2PFX tool expect the private key to be in?

  • How to create a certificate (spc-file) based on the private key I want?
