Apache Load Balancing Stickiness Strategies
I configured Apache load balancer with the following configuration.
The balancer works great but how can i do it it to switch the balancer and to stick with the new node?
So for example if i am working in node1 and i want to switch to go to node2 AND TO CONTINUE WORKING ON NODE2.
I understand that nodes work balancer works via cookie and if cookie are created than the node assigned at the beginning of the login it will remain unchanged till you logout. How can i do to manually change the node and to continue working on the new node, does not meter if need to re-login
#For choosing pecifich load balancer
ProxyPass /node1 http://127.0.0.1:8090
ProxyPassReverse /node1 http://127.0.0.1:8090
ProxyPass /node2 http://127.0.0.1:8081
ProxyPassReverse /node2 http://127.0.0.1:8081
Header add Set-Cookie "ROUTEID=.%BALANCER_WORKER_ROUTEe; path=/" env=BALANCER_ROUTE_CHANGED
<Proxy balancer: //jira-cluster>
BalancerMember http: //127.0.0.1:8090 route=node1
BalancerMember http: //127.0.0.1:8081 route=node2
</Proxy>
ProxyPass / balancer: //jira-cluster/ stickysession=ROUTEID

As far as I know, there isn't a way to force a session onto a new host without ending your current session.
