He’s not beating Thought Robot in any round. IG makes him universal, Thought Robot operates on a multiversal level.

IG may only work in one Universe, but that doesn't mean it's power output is just Universal.

Magus Used a Gauntlet containing a fake Reality Gem.

With this Incomplete Gauntlet, he was able to redirect the Ultimate Nullifier with a thought.

The Ultimate Nullifer was used to reset the Multiverse.

Magus also merged his duplicate Universe with the 616 Universe Instantly.

What makes this feat even more Impressive is how he was in a stronghold many realities away from main 616.

Later on Warlock and Magus fought for control of this Gauntlet at the Farthest Edge of the Multiverse.

This battle determined the Final Fate of the Entire Multiverse.

You then have it being stated that if Loki Used the Gems in Unison it would mean the End of all Realities.

Thanos also affected the Realm of the Beyonders with the IG.

The Realm of the Beyonders is outside Eternity.

And Finally, Black Panther managed to give God Doom pause

For simple scaling, it's far more powerful than the Cosmic Cube or Mistress Death both of which have Universal feats.
