The Superior Species |

The Origin |

Hyper-Sapiens are the parallel evolutionary result of the bio-genetic experimentation of Mutants. In the late 1930's a small yet brilliant think tank with radical theories on the pseudo-scientific principles of temporal physics, Darwinian acceleration, and parallel evolutionary morphology, traveled to the isolated island of Aogashima-Japan. There hopes? Of studying the proposed idea that the building blocks of organic life spewed from the atmospheric ash of volcanic eruptions. Suggesting and composing a thesis that ancient volcanic activity was indeed the source of the very first amino acids. What they found there would quietly change the landscape of metahuman theology. But it would be another 60 plus years before the public would ever hear of the off-shoot genetic cousins of the x-gene carrying Mutants. What they uncovered would later become known as the 'Kasei Misuto'-(the metaplasia mist). A low hanging nebula produced by the island's palisade of volcanoes. That when introduced to the biological configuration of the then, relatively unknown carries of the mutant X-gene, induced a hibernating metamorphosis resulting in the development of a new genetic off-shoot. These evolutionary eccentricities were labeled as Hyper-Sapiens. Neither human nor mutant, they were in fact a brand new deviation on both species. Concealed behind a veil of isolation, monetarily supplemented by a communist regime and the World already teetering on the brink of all out universal conflict, the morally malnourished researchers were allowed to conduct their experimentations absent any oversight or regulatory draw-backs. Though scientifically innovative by any measure, their initial efforts were clumsy often yielding little more then horrific and prolonged suffering and death. Concluding that the 'Kasei Misuto' itself was highly incompatible. With the earliest results producing only 1 viable Hyper-Sapien for every 1,000 mutant subjects. It would be more then a century later before the popular theory put forward by the original Hyper-Sapiens - that the Kasei Misuto itself retained unknown properties left over by an extraterrestrial intervention at the dawn of the Archaic Human - would become the prevailing philosophy of the foreign think tank. It wasnt until the native San'Vuns of Clan San'Vun put forward the idea that - in order for one to truly become a Hyper-Sapien - one must retain a hereditary link to their ancestral bloodline itself as they were the original harbringer's of the exclusive evolutionary trait. And it is because of this more recent and widely accepted dogma that the current collective of Hyper-Sapiens have advanced their internal scientific pursuits, capable in most instances of course correcting the previously unpredictable mutations to better reflect the immediate environment. Manicuring the individual adaptability based on genetic screening, rather then blind happenstance. Though the process continues to produce a very limited number of elevated Hyper-Sapiens. Resulting in premeditated candidacy based on bloodlines and pure bred lineal descent. To be exposed to the exclusive Kasei Misuto has now become a sacramental liturgy that serves as birthright for some, and the ceremonial foundation of the Hyper-Sapiens. As a civilized (all be secret) institution, the Hyper-Sapiens subscribe to an unwavering and strict cast system in which the cultural norms are dramatically shaped by a conformist belief which permits individuality as it applies to genetic development of one's mutated attributes. While still demanding conformity, as members of the Hyper-Sapiens' society are designated a position within said society based on the evolved abilities as a result of the Kasei Misuto. |

Suggesting and composing a thesis that ancient volcanic activity was indeed the source of the very first amino acids, the think tank's original study found that water filled micro-pores in hot rocks may have acted as the remarkable nurseries by which life on Earth began. Among some of the crucial precondition for the origin of life, was that of comparatively simple bio-molecules that must have had opportunities to form more versatile and complex structures. These, in turn, had to be capable of reproducing themselves with the capacity for storing genetic information in a chemically stable form. |

Volcanic gas, carbonyl sulfide (COS), helps free-floating amino acids to form peptides. It is this unusual reaction which occurs under a variety of conditions that may have been present on the planet before life evolved. Metal ions, such as iron and lead, and other chemicals intensified the reaction. COS decomposes relatively quickly on a geological timescale which is why the Voice Unheard's father theorized, it would be unlikely to have accumulated in significant concentrations in the atmosphere, but rather the volcanic gas would have influenced the exclusive amino acids close to sources such - as hydrothermal vents on the seafloor - forming peptide chains that would chemically stick to nearby rocks and continue to lengthen. |

The Kasei Misuto is a cryptic mist told by Hyper-Sapien folklore to be the progenitor of all Hyper-Sapiens. It is the source of their power, it is worshiped as that which separates them from humans and mutants - animals, and makes them superior. It is worshiped as their creator, for without it the Hyper-Sapiens would have never risen to walk the Earth. It is the mist that gave birth to the first Hyper-Sapiens, the Originals, the chosen few whose flesh was not eroded and whose X-Genes were blessed and turned into something greater. It turns the power to control water into one that swallows oceans, it turns a power that commands rock and Earth into one that splits the land and carries mountains. It turns the chosen few of mutant-kind into Hyper-Sapiens. And it is the Kasei Misuto that is the centerpiece of Hyper-Sapien religion. A religion that is no simple system of beliefs, but as a Darwinist way of life. A religion that demands the survival of the Hyper-Sapien as a race, one that commands them to use the Kasei Misuto to bless and transform the chosen few of mutant-kind, and erode away the weak and unfit ones through "The Cleansing", a religious practice that has seen the Hyper-Sapiens become selfish, unsympathetic, and blunt, concerned only with the survival and progression of their race. Theirs is a religion that promises a future of dominance, one where those who are weak, selfless and limit themselves by empathizing with the lesser races of humans and mutant-kind, have no place. A future that will only ever be reached through "The Cleansing". The Hyper-Sapiens are few. Their religion insists that they trust and serve no one, that they embrace a solitary attitude to ensure the survival and future of their race. -This portion written by Grandmaster Yin (Impero) |

@hawkshade: The cool thing about Ivana now is the mystery. Where is she, what is she doing, what happened. There's a want to have her back, and yet by not doing it theres a compelling unknown that ads a legendary layer over her.

@hawkshade: The cool thing about Ivana now is the mystery. Where is she, what is she doing, what happened. There's a want to have her back, and yet by not doing it theres a compelling unknown that ads a legendary layer over her.

The Superior Species |
---|
The Origin |
---|

@hawkshade: The cool thing about Ivana now is the mystery. Where is she, what is she doing, what happened. There's a want to have her back, and yet by not doing it theres a compelling unknown that ads a legendary layer over her.
