personally I'm not a fan of the way current CBM are made where a joke needs to be forced every 3 seconds. I enjoy the drama and action along with the high stakes.

Logan was a great film to end a great legacy.

Ragnarok. Logan was amazing and certainly a better film, but the question is what movie do I like more and the answer is Thor Ragnarok. Logan is serious and depressing, Thor 3 is fun and silly. I will pick fun over serious, and silly over depressing every time.

It's affected pretty much all of Hollywood; sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. It's even impacted the direction Disney has taken with Star Wars.

I hate to drag The Last Jedi into this discussion (bringing it up usually doesn't end well), but I think it's the best way to make my point. I do not believe that Lucasfilm/Disney would've shoehorned in so much unnecessary humor into The Last Jedi if it wasn't for the success that Marvel has been having with their sci-fi comedies.

I love Ragnarok - like easily in my top 3 marvel movies. But also in that top 3 and holder of #1 is Logan. I wasn't the biggest fan of Wolverine growing up as he seemed to be followed by a ton of fanboys and I was always drawn to characters who didn't get the spotlight as much.

However, Logan was far more than just a superhero movie to me. Hugh Jackman was absolutely incredible, the overall vision of the movie was incredibly well done, the story was incredible and it actually made me emotional at the end. As a fellow Canadian, it was sad to see the end of an era. It was a tasteful ending. Long live Wolverine!

Ragnarok. Logan was amazing and certainly a better film, but the question is what movie do I like more and the answer is Thor Ragnarok. Logan is serious and depressing, Thor 3 is fun and silly. I will pick fun over serious, and silly over depressing every time.

Long live Wolverine!

personally I'm not a fan of the way current CBM are made where a joke needs to be forced every 3 seconds.

Logan was a great film to end a great legacy.

That formula apparently infected "The Predator" as well apparently.

haven't seen it yet, but are you saying the movie forces jokes and stuff? lol that's so weird

personally I'm not a fan of the way current CBM are made where a joke needs to be forced every 3 seconds. I enjoy the drama and action along with the high stakes.

Logan is the better film. However, rewatchability plays a huge part in how I rate movies, and i’d rather watch Ragnarok if I was given the choice to watch both. Logan is just too depressing for me, I like fun.
