Thanatos: Thanatos is a very flamboyant and eccentric character. He carries a very goofy and sometimes immature disposition almost all the time, such as covering his ears and pretending not to listen to certain statements while making ridiculous sounds. He is also very sensitive, easily getting offended when ignored or told to be quiet. Thanatos’s main ability is transformation. He has six forms: normal, bat, nesting doll, urn, foot, and sword. While in a form Thanatos uses projectiles, gas, physical attacks in his nesting doll and foot form, and throwing weapons in his sword form.

Ikaros: Ikaros’s powers include aegis(energy shield that can cover 360 degree angle and can defend against almost all attacks), Artemis(explosive projectiles that could follow its target forever), Apollon(bow and arrow that has enough destructive force to destroy a country), Uranus system(Ikaros controls a large ship and can equip parts to herself from the ship) and Pandora(gives her the ability to self-evolve)

Prediction: Ikaros has both the offensive and defensive capabilities to take on Thanatos’s shape-shifting powers very easily.

Does Thanatos win?

Thanatos: Thanatos (Tanatosu) is the God of Death, debuting in the original Kid Icarus under the name Tanatos. An ill-behaved shape-shifter, he serves as a commander to the Underworld Army, Medusa’s second in command and as the boss of Chapter 7. Despite his eccentric and flamboyant demeanor, he proves to be a very skilled fighter. His main power is his capability to shape-shift, allowing the God of Death to assume whatever form he desires. During his boss fight, Thanatos can transform into a bat, a foot, a martyoshka doll, a sword with several spears, and an urn. He is very proficient with his shapeshifting powers, able to morph even the smallest parts of his body. In addition to his shapeshifting capabilities, he also demonstrates other magical feats. Thanatos can levitate in midair, which seems to be his preferred method of travel. In battle, he can toss blasts of dark energy and fire fireballs from his wings. He can also use his magic to enchant other objects. Thanatos is also capable of teleportation and can communicate with the other gods by means of telepathy. As noted by Hades, Thanatos’s status as the God of Death provides him immortality.

Ikaros: Ikaros is the deuteragonist in the Sora no Otoshimono series. She becomes attached to Tomoki at the start of the story undertaking a “contract” with him called Imprinting. She said to Tomoki that she is a pet-class (species) Angeloid type Alpha, called Ikaros (a cyborg). She is also known as Uranus Queen and Sky Queen. Her powers and abilities: Force field, immortality, flight and speed- She can fly at the speed of Mach 24 while 75% of her variable wings are sealed, strength- She is said to left up to 10 tons, artemis missiles- she can fire multiple missiles at once that are great at tracking to her targets, Uranus Queen- this is basically the battle mode setting on her and it increases her strength and speed and she can access more weaponry when in this mode, Uranus System- when activated four pillars from her ship cross dimensions and aid her in battle. These are the heavy attacks and she lost the Uranus System in the battle against Chaos. What was not shown in the series was that Ikaros once nearly destroyed Synapse under the decree of her original master. In fear of her power, the people of Synapse then sealed her powers and programmed her to burn to death if she went near Synapse without authorization.

Prediction: The God of Death vs. an Angel. A commander to the Underworld Army vs. An immortal cyborg fiercely loyal to her master dedicated to protecting him at all costs. An opponent capable of magical feats vs. an angel that nearly destroyed a continent. The tourney is titled “Deities”. Thanatos is a battle hardened “God”. Ikaros falls short.
