I just got into the chef position and do it part time and will start the work in 3 days. I am gonna be trained by the experienced ones of course as I am completely new to this job. My question is, is it tough being a chef? Is there any decent preparation that I should make prior to the 1st day of the part time employment?

Can be hectic from my experience, though mines was only a temporary position at the football stadium. But if you like to cook in a fast pace environment, then yeah it can be a fun job. Just be ready to work hard.
