.htaccess how to get the complete URL
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
I am writing a .htaccess redirect/rewrite that uses a regular expression that needs to 'see' the complete URL, something like:
Input URL: http://www.my.site.com/demo/home/
With my redirect/rewrite I want to do the following:
1) Change http to https
2) Remove www
3) Inject Symfony2 'parts' into the URL, when missing, i.e,: /app_dev.php/contoller
4) Add /home, if missing
5) Move the /demo subdirectory to the end of the URL, after /home
6) Remove the ending /, if present
Output URL: https://my.site.com/app_dev.php/contoller/home/demo
I've tried several things that I've seen in examples that I found when I googled .htaccess redirect and .htaccess rewrite, but so far nothing seems to work for me. I believe that this is because I'm not using the right %variable to see the whole URL, including the http:// or https:// part and the subdirectory parts that come after the domain.
# $1 $2 $3 $4 $5
# RedirectMatch ^(?:http(?:s)?://)?(?:www.)?my(.dev)?.site.com(/[a-z0-9]+)?(?:/app(_dev)?.php)?(?:/contoller)?(/home)?(/[^/]+)?(?:/)?$ https://my$1.site.com/app$3.php/controller/home$2$5
# $1 $2 $3 $4 $5
RewriteCond %REQUEST_URI ^(?:http(?:s)?://)?(?:www.)?my(.dev)?.site.com(/[a-z0-9]+)?(?:/app(_dev)?.php)?(?:/controller)?(/home)?(/[^/]+)?(?:/)?$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://my$1.site.com/app$3.php/controller/home$2$5 [L]
My first idea was to use the RedirectMatch command because it seemed the most concise and direct command, but when that didn't work, I switched to the RewriteCond/RewriteRule commands, but that hasn't worked, either.
