Scenario

Rogol Zaar shows up in Metropolis to kill superman, and doomsday just so happens to be rampaging about. Wanting to destroy all things krytonian, Rogol Zaar attacks doomsday, who responds in kind.

Who wins and why?

Doomsday should win here. He seems to be stronger and more durable than Rogol Zaar. Also, I don't see how Rogol keeps the behemoth down.

Here are feats for Rogol Zaar:

He's defeated rebirth superman twice now. In one instance superman was holding back because he didn't want to destroy the city but he also had backup from supergirl.

Here is the next issue with the full fight. He beats both superman and super girl at the same time (superman was holding back and fighting at an "8"). Superman comments on his speed, and he also manages to hide from supermans senses:

Rogol could probably win here, he beat clark in less time that it took doomsday

Rogol consistently knocked out Kara and Clark but Doomsday was overpowering both Wonder Woman and Superman and Diana subdued an amped Kara controlled by the Dark Gods. So Doomsday probably wins at the moment. Plus he tanked an explosion that destroyed multiple city blocks.

I would have to observe striking feats from his axe in order to confirm that it can.

When Rogol was separated from his axe Superman was able to fight more evenly with him than he had before. Doomsday should be capable of seperating Rogol from the axe which would ensure his chances of winning are even greater.

Could go either way.

I think Doomsday should win here. Doomsday is like a High Herald/Low Transcendent, Rogol Zaar should be at least Low Herald.

potentially a really good feat for Kara there

Doomsday was nigh unstoppable in Path of Doom, at least to a higher degree than Rogol displayed at any point in Man of Steel.

Is that a joke? Cause neither of them are even close to herald level, hell they aren't even on low end of high tiers like Gladiator, Hyperion and Blue Marvel.

Anyway DD takes this, he appeared more of a challenge than Rogol.

@gilneas: I was joking LOL. but seriously I was. It's because I always see other people saying how Doomsday would obliterate Silver Surfer and stuff.

My bad then, can't really tell when people are being serious and when they are being sarcastic considering all the things you get to read on this site.

Still need more showings from Rogol.

It does look like Superman will be teaming up with Zod to fight Rogol Zaar in issue 5 of Bendis' Superman.
