OT-Diaz

Imo he was bad. His goals weren't interesting and he was such a One Dimensional Villain, "he wants to rule the city". It was quite boring and I really didn't care about his back story. Plus the choreography wasn't too good this season. I have more faith in Season 7 though.

Spoiler parts are for Prometheus Spoilers, if anyone hasn't watched S5.

Merlyn wanted to destroy the glades and actually had good reasoning to do so.

Deathstroke wanted revenge on Oliver although his reasons were bad, he's still better in my eyes because he's way more badass.

Ra's al Ghul wanted Oliver to take his place and threatened to destroy the city otherwise, also Ra's had good reasoning too.

Damien wanted to build a new city, I don't remember much on him but at least he was funny at times.

Prometheus was legendary, he had solid reasoning (death of his father), and had the most intriguing plan and his plan actually worked. Although some of the effects of blowing up Lian Yu weren't evident in Season 6, that's another reason why Season 6 was bad.

Diaz wanted to rule the city because he got bullied as a kid? And you said everyone wanted to destroy the city, tbh it was either with good reasoning, or it wasn't there main goal, just a distraction. Diaz just wanted to rule the city.

@subline: No he wanted to rule the city to satisfy his ego because he has a massive inferiority complex. It did have good reasoning and I'm tired of the same reasons for hating Diaz which only proves people wanted to hate season six rather than analysing the story it was trying to tell. One cliffhanger resolution doesn't ruin a season.

In a straight h2h fight? Diaz is more skilled, but vastly outclassed in physicals (sans speed). He'll tire out and lose.

On topic: IDK probably Diaz in a tough fight. MR will be hard to put down, is inhumanly strong, and hits like a cannonball. Diaz was able to do okay against Oliver so he has that going for him. IIRC Diaz fights dirty when he feels like he needs to (and he's gonna need to) so that might tip the match to his favor. Otherwise I'd side with Mother Russia.

Mother Russia crushes him. A tougher opponent for her is Luke Hobbs from Fast and the Furious.

Mother Russia, her skill is definitely not low, and her physicals are insane. I mean, Mindy was getting stomped before her Adrenalin shot. Even speed which normally is the detriment of major powerhouses doesn't apply here since Mindy (who I think is safe to say most people think she is quick) barely landed more than a couple shots pre-AS.
