I felt like the "Movie Team" didn't have that much of a connection compared to the "Netflix Team"; they just happened to be part of the same story. It was like "Hey, Killmonger's a bad guy. I better stop him." There was barely a connection like there's been between Xavier and Magneto or TDK Batman and the Joker or Jessica Jones and Kilgrave. Maybe I have this viewpoint partly because I didn't find T'Challa to be very interesting in the film.

Yeah, I kind of agree with the bolded, although he is still pretty likable as a fictional character IMO and he had shown great character development between Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther. I understand Michael B. Jordan based his Killmonger role on The Dark Knight's Joker, but the dynamics between him and T'Challa wasn't that strong as compared to The Dark Knight's Joker and Batman, or X-Men reboot film series' Xavier and Magneto.

T'Challa and Killmonger

I liked Bushmaster a lot but his relationship with Luke really didn't go that deep. I really wish they would have focused more on Bushmaster and Luke rather then Maria. T'Challa beating Killmonger led to a big change for Wakanda while Luke's big change didn't come from Bushmaster but from got damn Maria. If they had focused more on Bushmaster and Luke I would've voted for them.

I understand Michael B. Jordan based his Killmonger role on The Dark Knight's Joker, but the dynamics between him and T'Challa wasn't that strong as compared to The Dark Knight's Joker and Batman, or X-Men reboot film series' Xavier and Magneto.
