@maestromage: If you have any intention of reading or watching Assassination Classroom, this post will obviously carry massive spoilers for the entirety of the manga and anime. If you're okay with that, then I'll gladly introduce you to everyone's favorite Mach 20 tentacled abomination:
Koro-Sensei, The Unkillable Teacher!
Basic Character Biography
Koro-Sensei is the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School, and the central character and main antihero of Assassination Classroom. He claimed to be responsible for creating the permanent crescent moon, and added that he planned to destroy the earth after teaching Class 3-E for a year.
Prior to being a teacher, he was the master assassin known as "The Reaper".
Tentacle I - Speed
Koro-Sensei is fast, very fast. In his first appearance, he was seen dodging shots from a class of over twenty people while casually taking attendance:
Mach 20 is his maximum speed, if you need a number, which is exactly twenty times faster than the speed of sound. In that same chapter, he does something even more impressive with his ridiculous speed:
In the above scans, a few things happen:
- Koro-Sensei exits the classroom through the door.
- He flies from their mountain all the way back to the city.
- Over a dozen stops are made all over Japan.
- Lastly, he makes his way back and enters the classroom through the door.
This all happened before any of the students had noticed that he was gone. If that isn't enough for you, he is also able to create enough speed clones to individually teach everyone in a class of over twenty people:
I think this should just about cover the speed section, so I'll go ahead and move on to the next part of my opener - strength.
Tentacle II - Strength
Koro-Sensei isn't physically strong at all - at least not enough to pose any real threat to your guy - but he does have ways of damaging similarly durable characters, namely his energy compression technique:
This ability is explained and demonstrated in the above scans, but that isn't nearly his best showing with the technique, nor would it be enough to win this. I see no reason to hold back on a feat like this, even if it is my opener, so I'll go ahead and show his best feat involving his energy compression:
The blast used above was enough to nearly one-shot a monster with more than multi building level durability, meaning that he should be able to significantly hurt your character based on the feats that I was shown before this match started.
I'm aware that I stated he had no real strength feats that would allow him to win against your guy, which is completely true, but he does have a few feats that would at least allow him to hold you off in between energy blasts:
In the above scans, he uses his tentacles to rip up an entire building with ease, which should be enough to at least stall your character. I feel like I've covered enough on this section for now in order to move on to the next part - durability.
Tentacle III - Durability
Koro-Sensei's durability is a bit odd, as even if someone could blow him to pieces or slice him apart, unless it's done with a very specific kind of material he will simply pull himself back together. In his first hostile encounter with Irina, for example, he demonstrates the uniqueness of his body by allowing himself to get hit by hundreds of rounds from automatic rifles:
As you can see, all of the bullets passed right through him and melted without causing him any harm. In addition to this, he has a thick mucus membrane around his body that can even stop sniper shots:
In terms of just blunt force durability, he can survive some pretty heavy impacts, such as these:
Here, he flies into the side of a mountain at massively supersonic speeds and is completely unharmed.
In the above scans, he takes a sonic boom punch from an already building level monster and is relatively unharmed. I think that'll be all on durability for now, so I'll go ahead and be moving on to my current conclusions.
My Current Thoughts/Conclusions
I believe that Koro-Sensei has this match in the bag, not easily mind you, but his advantages definitely show:
- He has a clear speed advantage that should allow him to avoid all of your guy's attacks while he himself dishes out blasts that have the potential to seriously damage his opponent.
- His durability is enough that he can take a few hits if somehow his speed fails him.
- Lastly, his regeneration and unique form of being are something that you'll have to prove your guy can deal with, which could make or break your side of the debate.
It's your go, @maestromage! Good luck!

Kuga Yuma, "The White Nightmare"
Bio
Kuga Yuma is one of the main characters in the anime/manga World Trigger. He is from a different dimension (called the "Neighbourhood"), and he crossed over to our world where he joined a Team in the organisation Border.
Trion Equipment
As a character in World Trigger, Yuma uses the technology of "triggers" to fight. When a trigger is activated, the users body is replaced with a body made from Trion. This also allows for the usage of trion based weaponry.
On the right is the equipment that Yuma uses
Scorpion is Yuma's weapon, and it is as energy blade that can change shape and also can come out of any point in his body (e.g. his feet).
Grasshopper allows Yuma to place down a small tile that when stepped on will propel the user at high speeds. It can also be used on opponents or on objects such as pieces of debris.
Shield is a trigger that creates a shield that covers most of Yuma's body and can block damage.
Bagworm is a trigger used to hide from radar, which won't be needed in this fight.
Durability
Trion bodies are very durable, and the Author confirmed that they could tank both missiles and re-entry.
Q.178: Chapter 1 said that tanks and fighter aircrafts’ attacks didn’t work on trion bodies, but can agents in trion bodies not be damaged too? Or are they not durable enough and will bailout?
I think a trion body for combat use will be totally fine against the gun of a tank or a missile.
Ashihara Daisuke
Q.253: What happens to trion bodies if they’re tossed into outer space?
I think they will probably go into sleep mode and float in satellite orbit. If they plunge into the atmosphere of a planet, they will land on the surface of the land (or sea) without burning up.Ashihara Daisuke
On top of this, it was stated by Arashiyama that all trion combat bodies have the same durability. Therefore, durability feats can be shared across different characters (at the very least for Border's triggers).
Scan 3: They can tank dropping from the top of border HQ (a building that's at least 20 stories tall) with no damage
Scan 1-2: They can tank being punched through 10 buildings by a rabbit and get up almost immediately afterwards.
His durability is one of Yuma's biggest assets and should allow him to tank a lot of what Koro-Sensei can dish out.
Striking/Attack Potency
Trion weapons are very powerful, and this is mainly shown in their ability to damage trion bodies, and I have already shown how durable they are.
In the first scan we see Yuma easily slice apart trion bodies with scorpion, which suggests that he should be able to do the same to Koro-Sensei (though it wouldn't be as effective due to his regen). The second scan shows him taking out another trion body, as well as cutting clean through metal poles.
Speed
This is the one category where I am sure that Yuma is at a disadvantage. However, he is no slowpoke, and although there is a speed gap, I will do my best to show that it is not solarge that Yuma won't be able to tag Koro-Sensei at all.
Here we see Yuma narrowly avoiding sniper fire whilst fighting a skilled swordsman.
He Yuma reacts to and avoids more sniper fire, this time fired from a special sniper rifle that is faster than a regular sniper. High end sniper rifles have a bullet speed of up to 1000m/s (Mach 2.9), but this could be even faster due to it being more advanced technology.
Here we see Yuma (not even in a combat trion body mind you) react to and block bullets fired by Miwa. What's impressive about this is that he activates his shield so fast that Yoneya doesn't seem to notice he shielded until Yuma gets up. Yoneya has been shown to fight evenly with Kitora, who can move at this kind of speed by bouncing off of wires:
Yuma himself can accomplish a similar thing by using grasshopper. This technique is called the "pinball":
Skill and Experience
This is the area that I think will allow Yuma to be victorious here. Yuma is incredibly skilled and experienced, mainly due to him living in almost a constant state of warfare for most of his life.
First off, he beat Murukami Ko (admittedly with a small amount of help) in a 1v1 fight. This is impressive because Ko has a super enhanced learning memory, so that when he sleeps he learns from his experiences instantly. This allowed him to become the 4th highest ranked attacker in border. On top of that he had already fought Yuma, so he knew most of Yuma's moves. Yuma had to fight differently and took the fight underwater for a win.
The second scan shows him beating Hyuse 8-12. This is impressive because when fighting Tachikawa (the strongest ranked attacker in border) in a first to 5, Hyuse managed to take a round off of him.
The first scan shows Yuma mentally outplaying Arafune, who is a master swordsman. He did this by feinting by placing a grasshopper tile to trick him into thinking he was going to retreat (as he had just been shot), but instead he jumped off of the wall to attack.
The second scan is an extract from Yuma's fight against Midorikawa, and attacker in the 4th highest ranked squad in border. Midorikawa is highly skilled, despite his young age, but Yuma soundly beat him 8-2. Despite having only just met Midorikawa, Yuma made a plan to beat Midorikawa but allowing him to win the first 2 rounds, and then breaking his confidence by winning round 3. It worked so well that Midorikawa didn't take a single round back off of Yuma, despite Yuma being only slightly better than him (they fought again later without Yuma using any psychological warfare, and Yuma only won 6-4).
Counters
He has a clear speed advantage that should allow him to avoid all of your guy's attacks while he himself dishes out blasts that have the potential to seriously damage his opponent.
Though he does have the speed advantage, I believe Yuma is should be fast enough to tag him every now and then, especially because of Yuma's high skill and experience fighting. Yuma should also be able to tank all attacks aside from his strongest energy compression attack without too much trouble. Yuma is also accustomed to and often ends up fighting with only one arm, so he won't be stopped if he does get injured.
His durability is enough that he can take a few hits if somehow his speed fails him.
His durability, whilst impressive, is no more impressive than that of trion bodies, which Yuma can cut through easily.
Lastly, his regeneration and unique form of being are something that you'll have to prove your guy can deal with, which could make or break your side of the debate.
Yuma spent 6 years travelling the neighbourhood with his dad and a further 3 years by himself (and also replica), fighting enemies with a wide variety of triggers and abilities. I don't think Yuma would be too freaked out by Koro-Sensei's octopus-like form. In addition, though his regen is powerful, regenerating his tentacles does drain his stamina, so he can't regen forever.
Conclusion
- Though Yuma is slower than Koro-Sensei, he is still fast himself, and I believe that his skill and experience will allow him to tag Koro-Senei in this fight, albeit not frequently.
- Yuma is durable to tank most of what Koro-Sensei can dish out, whereas Yuma will be cutting straight through Koro-Sensei when he tags him.
- Yuma's high mobility and durability should allow him to tank or evade most of what Koro-Sensei can do, until Yuma eventually Koro-Sensei's stamina will be drained to the point where Yuma can KO him.

In the above scans, he takes a sonic boom punch from an already building level monster and is relatively unharmed. I think that'll be all on durability for now, so I'll go ahead and be moving on to my current conclusions.

Good luck!

Good luck!

- His durability is enough that he can take a few hits if somehow his speed fails him.
- Lastly, his regeneration and unique form of being are something that you'll have to prove your guy can deal with, which could make or break your side of the debate.
It's your go, @maestromage! Good luck!
