Honestly I don't think there's any debate to be had. May is superior pretty cut-and-dry. Ward, Bobbi and Daisy too.

Im dead serious..,.whats the point in seeing may get dropped by 3 people and claim shes a better fighter than diggle who just literally took down an army by himself. Everyone here knows may rarely if ever uses a gun...so she has like what 3 feats? Yet in your mind shes better with a gun than a guy whos used one for 6 season straight in every fight. What do you get out of it?

Diggle is basically a better Ward and Ward already gave May the fight of her life.

May both rounds. Not sure how easily, but I don't see her necessarily struggling.

I don't think May has really improved all that much since the S1 finale. Yes, she has more experience, but it's not like she was lacking in that department before she joined Coulson's team. She already had plenty of experience under her belt.

Ignoring May's current injury, if Ward and May were to fight again, I don't think there will be any significant difference from their fight in the S1 finale.

@rbt: To be fair to May, she has faced Supers more times than Diggle. In fact, one of her best fights was against the Inhuman telekinetic (he was depowered for the record, making it strict hand-to-Hand).

Then we have her vs Akela Amadour where she kicked a gun out of Akelas Hand point-blank and casually dodged a knife thrown at her.

Also, there is her tagging Ben while injured, which is noteworthy considering he is not only skilled, but also a telepath.

Facing supers does not necessarily make you more skilled. However, it's hard to debate for Dig's skill either since he does not really fight established characters that much. Though his fodder feats are better than May's at this point. And he has a decent stats advantage on her.

She obviously has really good stats if she can knock them out eventually. Taking on a superhuman and beating them in h2h means she is more skilled than the superhuman she is taking on has striking power to put them down.

IISC her striking power comes more from momentum, technique and speed more than pure strength... she has really good stats, true, she has been able to react to very fast projectiles and tank heavy hits, but most of her power comes from her skill...

Besides, May seems to be pretty aware of where to hit or dangerous weak points the body has (reference might be the times she has hit people on the chest, in the nuts, larynx and other critical points)...

@rbt: That’s where we consider how May deals with those stronger than her, in which I would refer to the telekinetic who had her in a choke hold. Outside of Grant Ward, he was as agile as May and Stronger than May. And they were in a room where May couldn’t make herself any makeshift weapons, meaning it was pure hand-to-Hand.

mmm Ward was nowhere near as agile as May... stronger? yeah, it was his most important factor in his H2H, but May was faster and decisively more agile... and the room they fought... it was context in Ward's favor (since he always seemed to be better improvisor in those kind of areas)... it was not pure H2H since they both used wires, wood planks, tubes and everything they found at that area... it was clearly not H2H, if it was, they wouldn't have used external gear (both of them)...
