Loadind DLL into Object Tag in Angular 6
I have a MVC.NET and Angular JS project to convert to Angular 6, I am unable to load a .NET dll into an object, below code in AngularJS is working
<object id="PrintBadgeControl" name="PrintBadgeControl" classid="@Url.Content("~/ActiveX/DbmsPrint.dll")#DbmsPrint.PrintBadge" style="display:none;"></object>
from controller I call a function on the object
document.getElementById('PrintBadgeControl').StartPrinting(badge, '');
same code I have converted into Angular 6
<object id="PrintBadgeControl" name="PrintBadgeControl" classid="/assets/activeX/DbmsPrint.dll#DbmsPrint.PrintBadge"></object>
but does not work when I call it from component as below
document.getElementById('PrintBadgeControl').StartPrinting(badge, '');
the DLL file location is correct in assets folder, I can't see the DLL being loaded in IE. I am getting below error
TypeError: Object doesn't support property or method 'StartPrinting'
