Excellent fight, although I'm leaning towards the Sith on this one. Maris is the weak link, although her Beast Control is pretty impressive, it wouldn't take much more than a somersault and a lightsaber through a skull to put down a rancor.

Sith, 6/10. I think they have the Force edge, as far as TK and lightning is concerned, and Malgus is a pretty great duelist, defeating Darach and Zallow, who were some of the best of their time.

That's what I was thinking. Ti would give them a heck of a fight, and Maris is a threat, but not a big one.

Hmmm... I think I read fanfic once with the same characters but that ended in a very different way.

Anyway I heavily leaning to the sith cause ya know Maris is sort of,kinda... sucks mainly because of her weapon but the rancor could be a challenge for malgus(Vindican on the other hand can lightning the crap out of it)Shaak will most certainly put up a good fight but 2v1 or a boosted malgus will win most of the times.

Rancors generally aren't the greatest threat to Sith; Fate of the Jedi showed that.

Anyways, I think Shaak Ti might be the most powerful here and could potentially use her TK to seriously injure her opponents.

Still, I'm not too sure on a victor, and I think Deceived Malgus would give his team the win.

TFU is considered part of Legends now, so her canon fate is actually undetermined. Deleted scenes don't count as canon, so they have yet to wrap that one up. At least, I haven't seen where they've done anything with it.

@nfactor1995: He death scene in ROTS was never canon, as the scene was deleted. She appeared in TFU as the final boss for Felucia the first time around and Galen Marek narrowly defeated her. Malak would stomp her due to a combo of blade skill and Force power. I hold Malak above Malgus as both a duelist and a Force user honestly, by a decent margin.

Well between Shaak being a better telekinetic than either, there's also the fact that Malgus' victory over Darach is highly circumstantial and his fight with Zallow didn't happen yet. That being said: Shaak solos.

EDIT: Just say throwing in Decieved Malgus if Vindy dies... Ti don't solo, but her team may very well win.

As each team consists of a master and an apprentice, I wonder if things would unfold in the way that they did in Return, with the two masters fighting one another and the two apprentices fighting one another. If this is the case, the Sith have their strongest chance. Maris Brood wouldn't last very long against Malgus, and whilst I think Shaak could make short work of Vindican, it's really a race against time. Still, Shaak should be able to replicate Kao Cen Darach's performance towards the end of Return - taking down Vindican before engaging Malgus. Shaak shouldn't lose here. Under these circumstances I'd give Shaak Ti a 70% chance of winning; Maris' survival depends on whether or not she can outlive Vindican.

If the intuitive pairing doesn't occur, leading to Shaak engaging Malgus and Maris Brood taking on Vindican, I think Shaak and Maris should take it with a more optimistic majority. Maris Brood could probably hold out against Vindican longer than Malgus could hold out against Shaak Ti, and at the point of Malgus' death it's over for the Sith.

Replacing Return Malgus with Deceived Malgus should lead to a majority win for the Sith. I don't think even this version of Malgus would claim a certain majority over Shaak Ti (I'd consider them near-equals), but under these conditions I see Maris Brood definitely being the first to fall.

Team Jedi is in their prime.

Vindican and Malgus as seen in the Return trailer for SWTOR.

Standard gear and morals.

Battlefield: Rancor Graveyard (where Galen Marek fought Maris in TFU.)

Stipulation(s): If Vindican is easily killed, Malgus gets upgraded to as he was in Deceived. Maris can call on Bull Rancor a single time, at any time during the fight.

TFU is considered part of Legends now, so her canon fate is actually undetermined. Deleted scenes don't count as canon, so they have yet to wrap that one up. At least, I haven't seen where they've done anything with it.

Team Shaak, due to her being the MVP, and the Rancor could provide a distraction. If Malgus is as of Decieved, he can solo due to Maris being a weak link.

Sith, 6/10. I think they have the Force edge, as far as TK and lightning is concerned, and Malgus is a pretty great duelist, defeating Darach and Zallow, who were some of the best of their time.

Team Shaak, due to her being the MVP, and the Rancor could provide a distraction. If Malgus is as of Decieved, he can solo due to Maris being a weak link.
